If you're not staying at the Hotel Hacienda Xa Namera, the winding ride to the property is as pretty as it is exhausting for anyone arriving form the island's busier southwestern corners. The reward, however, is that the hotel is located on a stunning cliff promontory in the northeast of Ibiza. If you squint the landscape looks not unlike Capri while seated in the hotel's chic poolside Eden Restaurant -- by far one of the island's top hotel kitchens. The space is arranged within a retro, somewhat dated arrangement of interconnecting lounge and dining room attended by a meticulous staff and Michelin-worthy chef.
The Food
Open only from 8pm-11pm, a mostly in-house clientele and few posh neighbors indulge on what many consider the top gourmet menu on the island. The dramatic menu offers a light and delicious cuisine from the on-site vegetable garden, nearby sea, and local farms.
